Start with one Sour Cream White Bread mix or use your favoite recipe substituting twice as much sour cream as the recipe calls for butter or oil. Follow the package or recipe directions. Add ¼ cup dry minced onions for each loaf and knead as directed. Place in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled, about one hour.
With a sharp knife, slice pieces from the dough. Form golf ball-sized rolls by pulling the dough around the center of the bread and pinching the seams together. (Each mix should yield about 20 dinner rolls.) Place seam side down on a greased non-insulated pan about one inch apart. Do not handle the dough more than necessary. Cover and let rise until doubled.
We now offer Sour Cream Onion Dinner Rolls in mixes for your bread machine or stand-type mixer.
