Aren’t bread machines marvelous! You can set the timer on your bread machine Friday night. Then, wake up Saturday morning to the smell of fresh homemade bread wafting the house. The fresh homemade bread is a treat but look what else you can make!
1. Make Fry Bread (Scones)
Okay, this is a very scrumptious breakfast. Set the timer but on the dough cycle. When you get up, you’re ready to cook breakfast. Cut off slabs of puffy dough and cook them on the griddle in melted butter. You’ll have the kids downstairs and breakfast on the table in no time.

2. Cinnamon French Toast with Bananas and Walnuts
This is a simple French toast topped with bananas and chopped walnuts. Try it with Vanilla Buttermilk Syrup. You’ll love it.
This is a quick, easy breakfast that will delight everyone.
3. Banana Cream Pie French Toast
This French toast is filled with Bavarian Cream, so it really does taste like banana pie. But we didn’t make it into a “sandwich” as we do most stuffed French toasts. We cooked the French toast first and put Bavarian Cream between the slices.
Yes, this is one of the most scrumptious breakfast concoctions on the planet.

4. Apple Pie French Toast
This one, we did load with apple filling before putting the “sandwich” on the grill. That’s because we wanted the apple filling hot and in the French toast above, we wanted the filling to be cool.
Both are very good.
We recommend apple pastry filling—it’s more condensed than pie filling—but either will do.
