This bread is screaming good!  No surprise.  You load really good homemade bread with extra select cinnamon, add some raisins, and yes, it’s going to be good. And, as you would expect, this cinnamon bread makes great French toast.

Cinnamon Toast with Bananas and Walnuts

This is a simple French toast topped with bananas and chopped walnuts. Try it with Vanilla Buttermilk Syrup.  You’ll love it.  Vanilla always complements bananas well.

This is a quick, easy breakfast to make that will delight everyone.

Banana Cream Pie French Toast

This French toast is filled with Bavarian Cream, so it really does taste like banana pie. But we didn’t make it into a “sandwich” as we do most stuffed French toasts.  We cooked the French toast first and then slathered the Bavarian Cream between the slices.

Yes, this is one of the most scrumptious breakfast concoctions on the planet.

Apple Pie French Toast

This one, we did load with apple filling before putting the “sandwich” on the grill.  That’s because we wanted the apple filling hot and in the French toast above, we wanted the filling to be cool.

Both are very good.

We recommend apple pastry filling—it’s more condensed than pie filling—but either will do.

. . . or make French Toast Sticks

These are fun!  Make sandwich “sticks” and the cook them on all four sides.  Even the big people will find these fun.  And if you want to please the kids, use peanut butter and jam as the filling.

We use buttermilk syrup for dipping.
