Ingredients
5 slices bacon
1 small sweet onion, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
1 cup fine bread crumbs
2 large eggs beaten
1/3 cup ranch dressing
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
3/4 cup reduced fat sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup ketchup
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and place an oven-proof rack on the sheet.
- Sauté the onion, celery, pepper, and garlic together until the onion is soft and translucent.
- In a large bowl, mix the parsley, toast pieces, eggs, ranch dressing, mustard, sour cream, salt, and pepper together. Add the sautéed vegetables.
- Using your hands, mix the ground meat and cheese into the mixture in the bowl. Using a burger mold, form seven mounded patties 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick. Place them on the rack. Spread the ketchup over the patties.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the meat registers 160 degrees with an insta-read thermometer. Serve hot.
