What are summer get-togethers without ice cream? And we’re especially partial to hot fudge sundaes. Once you’ve had homemade hot fudge, you’ll never want to go back to store-bought.
Hot Fudge Sauce
1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 12 fluid ounce can evaporated milk
Directions:
1. Melt the chocolate chips and the butter together in a saucepan.
2. Once melted, add the sugar and stir.
3. Add the milk and stir.
4. Bring to boiling, reduce the heat, and continue simmering for ten minutes.
5. Let cool to the desired consistency.
Store in the refrigerator and reheat in the microwave to serve.
