This is Ghirardelli’s recipe taken from the label of Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate.

2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate
2/3 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  1. Combine the eggs, sugar, and vanilla.  Add the butter.
  2. Whisk the Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate with the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Combine the flour mixture with the egg mixture.  Add the nuts.
  4. Spread the batter into a greased 8-inch or 9-inch square pan.
  5. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
