You can fill cupcakes with everything from pastry fillings to whipped cream to chocolate to marshmallow cream. It’s easy to do. Fill a pastry bag or decorator set with your filling and with a star or narrow tip, insert the tip through the top of the cupcakes and press. The cupcakes will start to bulge when full. Frost the tops of the cupcakes to cover the holes.
But there is an easier way—with a premade pastry filling. The pastry fillings that we sell, from Bavarian cream to raspberry, come in squeezable two-pound tubes. They are professional fillings, probably the same fillings that your favorite bakery uses. The tubes have tapered ends. Simply clip the tip of a tube and insert it into the cupcakes and press. You can fill cupcakes in less than five seconds each. The filling is already made for you. You don’t have to fill pastry bags or store leftovers. And there is no clean-up. Put a clip on the end of the tube and stick it in the refrigerator where it will keep for six months.
